Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

Yep, made it there and back.  do not have much time to go into detail tonight.  Left McD with Cy and JJ and 7:30.  Went to Country Kitchen in Centralia.  Ride there was chilly (thank goodness for Gerbing) with some fog, around 34 degrees.  Waited until 9:10 for Glen.  That is 10 minutes past the normal Vermin grace period.  Headed for Wingman.  Made it there.  Glen showed up shortly after we did.  Seems he had clock problems.  Glen led us on a nice ride back.  First south, then northwest, then west along the river to Longview and crossed the River.  Then we went west, north, east and west some more.  Stopped for lunch.  Went north, west and east again.  Ended up in Centralia.  Glen peeled of and the 3 of us hit the slab.  JJ turned off at exit 123.  I turned off at 405.  Cy was last seen headed north.  In around 6:00 PM with about 350 miles.

Am I jealous of Gerbing gear? You betcha.  But, being on a budget, I found 5 layers quite sufficient.  Shocked  When we stopped for breakfast at the Country Cousin Cafe, I knocked some ice off my fairing!  That was some frozen fog we went through.  Wingman's is just a bit further down the road than you expect, but we found it.

I left a handful of the new VERMIN cards at Wingman's. John, working at the store, posted one of the cards on their bulletin board and put the rest beside the cash register.  Very nice; we chatted about Valkyries (he wants another one and is looking for an I/S) and the bling/toys they have in the store.

The DRBs represented the club admirably and had a good time snooping around the store.  I picked up a 1/2 cover for the Valk and Redlight found a Gerbing adapter for his trickle charger.  I think I know what we need to get Friagabi for his birthday or Christmas. Maybe Wingman's can get it for us.    Wink Grin

Glen's memory/left thumb connection works just fine... just on a 2 minute delay. I think it has something to do with temperature as he was wearing heavy insulated gloves with the top forefinger and thumb cut off so's he could operate all the itty bitty buttons on his sundry gadgets. It brings to mind what would be a similar inconsistancy... say a fully insulated parka paired with a thong.

On a more realistic note... he really needs forward controls as his 6.5' frame fits better with feet forward all the time. Wasn't someone in New Zealand working on a new design?
